Chain of Responsibility is the part of heavy vehicle transport law most businesses find out about the hard way: safety duties don't stop with the driver. If your business sends, receives, packs, loads or schedules freight by road, people well away from the truck carry duties too. This unit puts your office and operations staff in the same room and works through what those duties look like in your actual business.

Is Chain of Responsibility training a licence?
No. Chain of Responsibility is covered by a nationally recognised unit, TLIF0009 Ensure the safety of transport activities (Chain of Responsibility), which leads to a statement of attainment rather than a licence. Many contracts, prequalifications and customer audits ask for evidence of CoR training — the unit is the cleanest way to provide it.

How long does it take?
It depends on crew size and how much experience they bring. We scope the schedule with you and lock it in your quote — including split delivery around your production hours where needed.
Is the 3D practice platform part of the assessment?
No. It's a free practice and familiarisation bonus for booked learners — assessment happens on real plant. Access is per-learner, runs for the course enrolment period, and the content stays High Risk Interactive's intellectual property.
What if someone isn't ready?
Nobody gets pushed through. If a learner needs more time, we arrange further training and reassessment options with the RTO — competency is the standard, not the calendar.
Can we bundle other units into the same visit?
Yes — most clients do. Mixing licence courses, VOCs and refreshers into one mobilisation is usually the cheapest way to run it. Tell us everything you need in the enquiry.
